Very good! That Auto Union Monza was a DKW as well of course. Both based on a DKW 3=6.

They probably are right now due to it's rarity. Back then: it's 'just' a 2-stroke 3-cylinder.

Thanks are really due to Mr Google! The only Auto Union I've seen in the wild recently was a splendidly preserved 1000 coupé.

It was probably rare to begin with and very low number has survived. Small and low powered sports cars didn't get much appreciation when they started to get old. And two-stroke engine didn't help either.
